Happy New Year! ♥

Hello everyone! Excuse my little absence at the end of the last year. Lots of things were happening, mostly Holiday related and I wanted to make sure I'm giving attention to my family during this wonderful time. Around Christmas, I usually don't even turn on my computer. It's just a nice and quiet time. Although, I was pretty active on my Instagram as you could see. I'm sure you all understand and are on the same page. I just can't believe that Christmas is over now and we've already started New Year! 2016! What will it bring?
This post might be a little random to you - and yeah, I admit it's a little bit different from what you're used to - but I still wanted to share everything with my lovely readers. There are a few photos that mean the World to me and you can also find out how my Christmas dinner looked like...
This lovely Christmas card was sent to me by my virtual friend, a wonderful person and beautiful blogger Adi. Thank you so much for this amazing personalited surprise! It almost made me cry. How adorable! I'll keep it forever! Please, make sure you check out her art, she's a real talent! ♥
Our Christmas Eve was awesome! I tried to keep the Czech traditions. We had a potato salad and fried zucchini for dinner. Normally, they eat a carp in Czech republic, but we are vegetarians, so that's why zucchini! It was delicious though! Oh and here are some cookies that I baked before Christmas. I made exactly 10 types of some most traditional cookies! If any of you are interested in recipes, let me know - I would love to share them!
Vanilla Rolls, Chocolate Sandwiches, Coconut Balls, "Drunk Isidore", Almond Mushrooms, Gingerbreads or Bee's Nests... these are some of my favorite cookies! (All made by me from the dough to the final decorating!)

And - hands down - the best gift ever - was... Old photos taken by my dad in 1993. He found them and scanned them all for me on Christmas Day! I honestly nearly cried a river when I thought about how time actually flies and this doesn't even seem that long ago... 23 years passed since I was this cute. What happened? - LOL. I miss the snow! I miss the Winters with my parents! I truly miss skiing even though I do have an access to the beach instead... I really loved to see these photos and I appreciate that my dad shared these memories with me right around this special time. What a wonderful childhood I had and - oh my God - how grateful and thankful I am! I wish everyone could grow up in a loving family!
Check out the 90's fashion! LOL (Me, my mom, my older brother and Mr.snowman!)
Our favorite ski resort - Aldrov, Vitkovice in Krkonose. That's where my parents taught me and my brother how to ski and that's also where I fell in love with the snow! (Mom, that overal that you're wearing is EVERYTHING!)
So many beautiful walks I did with my dad while my mom and brother were skiing. It was our favorite activity... Loved every single mile walking hand in hand with my dad... ♥
Who's gonna carry me like that now? I'm too old lol.

And that's it for today! In fact, I already have some outfit posts ready for you, so stay tuned! I would love to THANK YOU ALL for staying with me in 2015! I appreciate each and every one of you, I want you to know that! Thanks so much for coming back to see what's new in my life. I'm wishing you a FABULOUS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 and never forget to do what you LOVE! ♥
